As an associate of Messner Reeves New York Office, Lena represents various commercial businesses and litigates commercial matters.
While at the University of Notre Dame Law School, Lena completed the Program of Study in Global Law where her curriculum was primarily focused on both public and private international law. She also served as a Research Intern for an Italian NGO in Lima, Peru, where she studied the social conflicts between a mining corporation and an indigenous population.
After law school, Lena served as a Legal Fellow for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts where she advised low-income artists on intellectual property, contract, corporate, and dispute resolution matters in conjunction with pro bono counsel. Prior to joining Messner Reeves, Lena was an associate attorney for Starr & Starr, PLLP where her practice focused on commercial litigation, collections, and bankruptcy matters.
