Derek Linford focuses his practice on civil litigation, with an emphasis in medical malpractice defense. He has experience representing clients through litigation, including from pre-litigation negotiations through trial preparation.

Prior to joining Messner Reeves, Mr. Linford was an associate with a local firm practicing in healthcare and medical malpractice defense. During law school, he served as a law clerk with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and the Civil Division of the Pima County Attorney’s Office. He also served as the Senior Managing Editor for the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.
