Download BioMr. Hinks is a part of the Intellectual Property team, based in the firm’s Phoenix, Arizona, Office. He has extensive experience assisting in all litigation matters.
Mr. Hinks counsels clients with patents, litigation, and other intellectual property issues. He prepares and executes cease and desist actions, discovery, motion practice, claim construction, and proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Hinks also helps clients enforce intellectual property on various e-commerce platforms, including utilizing Amazon’s Patent Evaluation Express (APEX). His experience includes advising clients in the following:
- Procurement and enforcement
- Patent, trademark, and copyright litigation
- Trade secret and trade dress litigation
- Unfair competition and false advertising litigation
Before law school, Mr. Hinks spent over a decade on the management team for a privately run company based in Phoenix. This business background informs his understanding of his client’s overall business needs and how those needs interact practically and strategically with intellectual property and commercial litigation issues.
