Law360 Article: “Messner Reeves Taps Jan. 6 Civil Suit Atty For New DC Office”

A lawyer who sued President Donald Trump for his alleged role in helping incite the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol on behalf of Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and the partner of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick has joined Messner Reeves LLP’s team to launch its first office in the nation’s capital.

Phil Andonian has begun work at Messner Reeves as a Partner. The firm said his new role helps it establish an office in Washington, D.C., while simultaneously expanding the firm’s capabilities to work in California. Andonian, a Bay Area native, told Law360 Pulse in an interview Monday that he joined the firm officially in March.
