Messner Reeves LLP congratulates Partner Christina Mundy on her recent successful defense verdict, almost back-to-back to another successful defense verdict last month.
This latest case involved an alleged motor vehicle vs. pedestrian incident. Over five years of litigation, the defendant always maintained that his vehicle never made contact with the plaintiff. In addition to the liability defense, the plaintiff’s claimed injuries did not comport with the alleged incident.
After deliberating for less than 30 minutes, the jury determined that they did not believe the alleged incident ever occurred and that the plaintiff’s claimed injuries were either preexisting or exaggerated.
Las Vegas Partner Christina Mundy focuses on the defense of employment, professional and medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, hospitality/retail, tort liability, and business tort matters across the state of Nevada. She has represented many hotels, casinos, restaurants and nightclub venues — including Fortune 500 companies – in a wide range of litigated matters, and has experience in both state and federal courts.
Congratulations, Christina, on another exciting win!
