Ashley Sura

Ashley Sura is an associate in the Orange County office of Messner Reeves LLP, where her practice focuses on insurance defense and litigation.

Ashley’s primary legal experience is in personal injury and premises liability matters, with experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Her work includes managing cases from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, analyzing liability and damages issues, and supporting mediation and trial preparation. She has also represented corporate defendants in premises liability matters involving complex factual and liability issues.

Prior to joining Messner Reeves, Ashley worked in litigation-focused practices where she developed a strong foundation in case strategy, motion practice, and discovery. She is known for her strong legal research and writing skills and brings a detail-oriented, results-driven approach to her work.

Ashley earned her J.D. summa cum laude, from the University of La Verne College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the La Verne Law Review and Senior Editor of the Journal of Law, Business & Ethics. She received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Civil Procedure, Property Law, and Professional Responsibility. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

Ashley is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
