James P. Zurawski
Partner
James P. Zurawski is a partner in the Orange County office of Messner Reeves, where his practice focuses on litigation and insurance defense matters.
James has practiced personal injury law exclusively for decades, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of complex matters. He brings decades of experience handling motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death claims, premises liability matters, products liability cases, traumatic brain injury claims, and other catastrophic injury litigation.
Throughout his career, James has served as a senior trial attorney for several major insurance carriers, including Golden Eagle Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual, Farmers Insurance, and Mercury Insurance. He has extensive courtroom experience and has handled more than 40 personal injury jury trials.
In addition to personal injury defense, James has experience handling matters involving medical malpractice, bad faith claims, indemnification, construction defect disputes, and duty to defend issues.
James earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University and his J.D. from New England School of Law.
He is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts.
