Lawrence Balanovsky
Associate
Lawrence Balanovsky is an associate attorney with the Las Vegas office of Messner Reeves, where he serves his clients in civil and commercial litigation as well as transactional law.
As a skilled litigation attorney, he has guided clients through complex civil litigation, bad faith and coverage issues, and corporate, commercial, and real estate contract disputes. Lawrence is also highly experienced in transactional matters such as corporate formation and structuring, commercial and real estate transactions, wealth and tax planning, and administrative law in the entertainment, cannabis, real estate, and technology industries.
As a seasoned litigator, he explores all opportunities to minimize risk in litigation and protect his client’s best interests, developing personal strategies for each case. He further uses his experience in litigation to inform his transactional practice, ensuring that his client’s interests are protected and secure.
Lawrence earned his J.D., an LLM in Taxation, and a Certificate in Business Law from Washington University in St. Louis Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a focus on Econometrics and statistical analysis and his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on International trade as well as South Asian and Eastern European political history, from Emory University.
He is admitted to practice in Nevada, New York, the District of Columbia, and the Federal District of Nevada.
