Alex Beltz
Partner
Alex Beltz is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate Practice Groups where he represents a broad range of companies, developers, contractors, investors and entrepreneurs in real estate, real estate financing, construction, corporate and transactional matters. With extensive experience advising clients across multiple industries and a reputation for being both strategic and approachable, Mr. Beltz works closely with clients to provide practical, business-focused counsel that helps clients seize opportunities, anticipate challenges, minimize risk and achieve their strategic goals to move projects and deals forward.
Mr. Beltz’s real estate practice spans all aspects of real estate and construction law, including commercial leasing representing tenant and landlords, acquisitions and dispositions, development, title review, financing, land use issues and other real estate related matters. In addition, Mr. Beltz regularly assists clients on a variety of corporate matters, including corporate governance, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and complex contract drafting and negotiation.
Known for a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, Mr. Beltz serves as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from emerging businesses to established publicly traded companies by combining a deep legal knowledge and a business-minded perspective, and takes pride in building long-term relationships with his clients.
Mr. Beltz is a graduate of the University of Colorado and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Prior to joining Messer Reeves, Mr. Beltz served as County Attorney for Elbert County, Colorado. His diverse work experience for Elbert County included serving as general counsel to the Board of County Commissioners and other elected officials, negotiating and drafting various contracts and agreements on behalf of the County, employment law, civil litigation and development and land use matters.
