Benjamin J. Doyle
Associate
Benjamin J. Doyle is an associate at Messner Reeves, where his practice focuses on commercial litigation and insurance defense.
Benjamin has extensive experience with complex civil litigation involving commercial automobile claims, construction defects, premises liability, products liability, and toxic torts. He handles matters from initial case evaluation through final resolution. His experience includes conducting and defending fact-witness, expert, and corporate representative depositions; managing written discovery; drafting dispositive and discovery motions; and presenting oral argument in court.
Before joining Messner Reeves, Benjamin represented businesses, insurers, property owners, general and sub contractors, and other clients in state and federal court proceedings, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. He has handled matters involving major resort and casino properties, Fortune 500 retailers and worked with insurance special investigations professionals on claims involving suspected fraud. His workers’ compensation experience includes representing clients before Nevada’s Hearings and Appeals Divisions and arguing petitions for judicial review before the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Benjamin is committed to contributing to both the legal profession and the Southern Nevada community. He serves on the Executive Board of the Clark County Bar Association and is a member of its Publications Committee and New Lawyers Committee, which he previously co-chaired. Through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Children’s Attorneys Project, Benjamin advocates for children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings, helping ensure that their perspectives are heard in court and they have a say throughout their cases. He has also provided pro bono assistance through the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program.
Benjamin earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served on the Moot Court Board and achieved Gold Level recognition through the school’s Pro Bono Program. He received his B.A. in English from New York University, where he played varsity volleyball and minored in Spanish.
Originally from the Twin Cities and raised in Sacramento, Benjamin enjoys playing volleyball, shooting pool, and throwing darts with friends outside of his legal practice.
