Ms. Desiree Cox was admitted to practice law in California in 2019, and, prior to joining Messner Reeves, Ms. Cox worked on a wide variety of civil litigation matters.
While in law school, Desiree was a member of the Black Law Student’s Association, the Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Women’s Law Caucus. In addition, she also worked at the University of San Diego’s Civil Clinic, which provided free legal services to the community, and was a member of the International Law Journal.
She graduated from St. Johns University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies, and in 2018 she graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law.
