Eleanor D. Murphy
Associate
Eleanor D. Murphy is an associate with the Las Vegas/Reno office of Messner Reeves, where her practice focuses on appellate cases, healthcare disputes, medical malpractice, and litigation.
Prior to joining the Messner Reeves team, she worked in other firms practicing medical malpractice defense and general liability/corporate civil litigation. She brings experience defending large corporate clients in civil litigation in federal court and writing appellate briefs. She has also authored the law review note “No Means No: A Critical Examination of the Effectiveness of the ‘Yes Means Yes’ Law” (39 T. Jefferson L. Rev. 93)
Eleanor received her bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and then earned her J.D. from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Nevada and before the United States District Court of Nevada.
