Joseph Peter Caparis
Associate
Joseph P. Caparis is an associate in the Phoenix office of Messner Reeves, where his practice focuses exclusively on litigation.
Prior to joining Messner Reeves, Joseph practiced at another firm, where he worked on property tax and transaction tax appeals, contract matters, and litigation-related issues for Arizona and national clients. He collaborated closely with co-counsel and members of a national property tax team on a variety of complex matters.
During and after law school, Joseph gained experience with multiple firms representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of litigation matters, including construction defect, premises liability, employment law, medical malpractice, toxic tort, wrongful death, products liability, and breach of contract disputes.
Joseph earned his J.D. and Master in Sports Law and Business from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, he represented clients as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Clinic. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration from Pepperdine University, where he was a member of the Division I baseball team.
He is admitted to practice in Arizona and is currently seeking admission in Texas through UBE transfer.
