Idin Kashefipour is an associate in the Litigation and Labor and Employment Groups at Messner Reeves. He has experience representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in all aspects of civil litigation including trials and appeals. He also has extensive experience with law and motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.

Prior to joining Messner Reeves, Idin worked for a boutique litigation firm in San Francisco for several years. He also previously served as an associate in the business and securities litigation group of Ropes & Gray, LLP, and as a visiting attorney with Public Advocates Inc., a civil rights firm advocating for affordable housing, transit justice, and climate justice in the Bay Area. In law school Idin served as an articles editor on the Hastings Law Journal and externed for the Honorable John T. Noonan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, Idin was a corps member with Teach for America and taught middle school English and social studies in South Los Angeles for three years.

Outside of the office Idin enjoys spending time, especially outdoors, with his wife Sahar and their son.
