Katelyn Olivieri
Associate
Katelyn Olivieri is an associate in the New York office of Messner Reeves LLP, where her practice focuses on business litigation and insurance defense matters. She represents clients in business disputes, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and personal injury actions and has experience handling cases in state, federal, and appellate division courts.
Before joining Messner Reeves, Katelyn was as an associate at a boutique firm, where she served as a trusted legal advisor to several businesses, managed a varied litigation caseload, second-chaired a nine-day construction arbitration resulting in a client award exceeding $1 million, and drafted successful motions for summary judgment and dismissal. Her background also includes work in intellectual property and business formation through the Non-Profit and Small Business Clinic at New York Law School, as well as internships in family law, corporate transactions, and Kings County Supreme Court for the Hon. Joanne D. Quinones.
Katelyn earned her J.D. from New York Law School, where she was an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Association and received the Order of the Barristers for her excellent advocacy skills. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in pre-law from Iona University. Katelyn is a native New Yorker and fluent in Spanish.
