Laura E. Rios

Laura Rios is an associate in the Las Vegas/Reno office of Messner Reeves, where her practice focuses on litigation, insurance defense, real estate, business/commercial litigation, general litigation, and pro bono cases.
Before joining the Messner Reeves team, Laura served in other firms as an associate attorney. During that time, she developed a diverse background in civil litigation with experience spanning commercial real estate, insurance bad faith, business disputes, labor and employment law, and general liability cases. She also investigated complex civil matters, co-counseled on high-profile out-of-state cases, and determined litigation strategies tailored to each case’s strengths and weaknesses. She has a strong background in taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions and pleadings, and preparing for trial in employment law disputes and general liability cases. Throughout her legal career, she has represented individuals, small businesses, and large corporations.
She is licensed to practice in Nevada and also before the Nevada Federal Court. Laura is active in the Clark County Bar Association and volunteers as an attorney with the Children’s Attorney Program of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
