Patricia M. Comblo
Partner
Patricia M. Comblo is a Partner with the Denver and New York City offices of Messner Reeves. She maintains a diverse legal practice which includes litigation, insurance defense, real estate, healthcare, risk management, labor and employment, estate planning and estate administration. She has successfully obtained numerous dismissals for her clients via motions, trials and appeals.
Patricia brings a wealth of experience in civil litigation, having served as in-house counsel for a New York City agency, where she handled defense and affirmative prosecutions from inception through bench trials, jury trials, and appeals as well as all day-to-day legal matters. She has also managed a broad array of cases, including medical, dental and veterinary malpractice, general litigation, construction law, labor and employment, administrative and municipal law and risk management. She is currently licensed to practice in New York, Colorado and Massachusetts.
Patricia received her B.A. in criminal justice from Quinnipiac University, an M.A. in criminal law and procedure from the City University of New York and her J.D. from New England Law | Boston.
During law school, she interned with Greater Boston Legal Services, where she conducted hearings and trials. In her final year, she served as a Student Prosecutor where she successfully handled matters from arraignment through jury and bench trials.
Beyond her legal work, Patricia is deeply committed to community service, volunteering as an EMT with Gotham Volunteer Ambulance Corp., an instructor with Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, a medical volunteer with New York Road Runners, a running guide with Team Achilles, and a foster mom for Rescue Dogs Rock NYC. She is also an accomplished endurance runner, having completed over 30 half and full marathons, while raising money for charity.
