Robert R. McLeod
Associate
Robert McLeod is an associate in the Greenwood Village office whose practice focuses on defending healthcare professionals and entities in complex medical negligence and professional liability disputes in state and federal court. Robert has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including trial experience examining witnesses and arguing critical motions, taking and defending fact and expert depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions and pre-trial evidentiary motions, and preparing clients and expert witnesses to testify.
In addition to his trial casework, Robert has experience representing clients before state regulatory agencies and licensing boards, including defending healthcare entities in matters before the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and medical professionals from actions within Colorado’s Division of Regulatory Agencies.
Before joining the team at Messner Reeves, Robert worked for a Denver-area firm where he gained courtroom experience, drafted significant motions and pleadings, led discovery, and took and defended depositions.
Robert is currently licensed to practice law in Colorado, Texas, and Tennessee, and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
