Sara Wright

Sara D. Wright is a partner in the Las Vegas/Reno office of Messner Reeves, where her practice focuses on litigation, real estate, and insurance defense. She has nearly a decade of experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurance carriers in complex civil litigation matters across Nevada and California.

Her background includes defending clients in personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, medical malpractice, and transportation-related cases. Sara has also handled real estate disputes and worked as a mediator in the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program. She has successfully negotiated favorable settlements in every case she has handled, with a practice built on thorough preparation, practical strategy, and consistent results. She is also experienced in mentoring junior attorneys and promoting inclusive workplace practices through DEI initiatives.

Before joining Messner Reeves, Sara practiced law with firms focused on insurance defense and civil litigation. She also served as a pro bono attorney at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, where she represented low-income clients in family law and child advocacy cases. She continues to give back through holiday charity drives supporting children with serious illnesses.

Sara earned her bachelor’s degrees in English and Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California, Irvine, and her juris doctorate from Capital University Law School. She is licensed to practice in Nevada and California, and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the District of Nevada and the Central District of California.
