Sochima C. Vincent
Associate
Ms. Vincent has experience in drafting legal documents to aid in all stages of litigation, developing litigation strategies, conducting research, and drafting responses to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service’s requests for evidence of qualification for employment based permanent residency. While in law school, Ms. Vincent experienced being a law clerk for the Los Angeles Head Deputy District Attorney in the Sex Crimes Unit.
She was a mentor in the award-winning Judge Stephen O’Neil Trial Advocacy Mentoring Program (“Young Lawyers Program”), which was established to serve as a bridge between the law school and low-income high school youth from the Los Angeles community. The program is to expose young people to the benefits of obtaining an advanced degree. Ms. Vincent also served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association.
Ms. Vincent double majored in Political Science and Spanish with a minor in Philosophy. She is fluent in Igbo and have intermediate fluency in both oral and written Spanish.
