Messner Reeves LLP is pleased to announce that Associate Trevor Gallaway has been selected to join the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Legislative Advocacy Committee.
The Legislative Advocacy Committee coordinates with state Representatives and Senators throughout the year for strategic meetings and discussions around the ongoing immigration needs of their constituents. Each year in the Spring, the committee participates in the Day of Action by sending committee members to Washington, D.C. to meet with as many legislators as possible to advocate for pressing immigration matters.
Founded in 1946, AILA’s mission is to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of AILA members.
Trevor Gallaway is an Associate in the Denver office, where he focuses his practice on I-9 compliance and work authorization, immigration, and removal and deportation defense. He has extensive experience representing detained asylum seekers in removal proceedings, as well as handling litigation matters and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Trevor has been active in the Colorado branch of AILA, and has been a member of the immigration section of both the San Antonio Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association.
Congratulations, Trevor!
