Partner Bruce Montoya has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for the 16th year in a row! Montoya manages the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, and has over thirty years of experience as a trial lawyer. Throughout his career, he has participated in more than eighty trials and arbitrations while successfully defending several complex civil litigation matters, including high-exposure and class-action cases.
In 2002, Montoya was inducted into the International Society of Barristers and was recently named to the Board of Governors. Only a handful of attorneys throughout the United States are nominated and elected into this national society each year. Along with this, Montoya was elected to the executive committee of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and undertook the office of president for 2017. He also became a member of the International Society of Defense Counsel in 1997 and has been on the teaching faculty for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) for over ten years.
