Two Messner Reeves Las Vegas Attorneys Complete ABOTA National Trial College

Messner Reeves LLP Managing Partner Karie Wilson and Managing Trial Partner Christina Mundy recently completed the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) National Trial College – Advanced Trial Skills Program, held August 5-9, 2025 at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

This five-day, intensive program encompasses all aspects of civil jury trials from building rapport during voir dire and creating effective and compelling opening statements, to advanced cross-examination techniques and dealing with difficult witnesses.

Las Vegas Managing Partner Karie Wilson focuses her practice on civil litigation, specifically on matters dealing with transportation, products liability, and premises liability. She regularly defends clients against serious injury and wrongful death actions, as well as large transportation companies, independent owner-operators, and companies specializing in roadway construction and traffic control.

Las Vegas Managing Trial Partner Christina Mundy is a seasoned trial lawyer with a diverse practice that consists of high-profile and high-stakes employment, corporate, and catastrophic injury defense.  She is also called upon by clients for crisis management assistance. Christina also serves as outside general counsel for small to mid-sized businesses, advising them on day-to-day legal issues that range from small disputes to “bet the company” litigation. Her courtroom skills have earned her a distinguished reputation and she is experienced in every aspect of litigation and trial, from jury selection to cross-examination to summation.
