Messner Reeves LLP is pleased to announce a successful team effort between the Arizona and Las Vegas teams in securing the dismissal of a case before the Maricopa County Superior Court.
In the case, the plaintiffs had tipped a scissor-style forklift and then alleged that there was negligence on behalf of the defendant, Messner Reeves’ client United Rentals. Messner Reeves’ attorneys successfully contended that there was no duty demonstrated between United Rentals and the plaintiffs, and the Court agreed.
The Motion to Dismiss was a team effort with collaboration between Phoenix Partner Jeffrey Finley and Las Vegas Managing Partner Karie Wilson, as well as Phoenix Paralegal Toni Sorma, and Legal Assistant Cristina Luis.
Jeffrey Finley focuses his Phoenix-based practice on insurance defense, litigation, trial, and mediation, and has experience as lead counsel in over 40 jury trials on behalf of defendants and plaintiffs and hundreds of mediations and arbitrations.
Karie Wilson is the Managing Partner of the Las Vegas office, and focuses on civil litigation, particularly in matters involving transportation, products liability and premises liability.
Congratulations to Jeffrey, Karie, Toni, and Cristina on a successful win!
