Sejal Patel Article Featured in LA Lawyer January 2024

Messner Reeves LLP Orange County Associate Sejal Patel was recently published in the January 2024 issue of Los Angeles Lawyer, “Barristers Tips” section.

Sejal’s article focuses on premise liability and an examination of potential defense strategies and potential outcomes.

“The first line of defense is to determine if facts or lack thereof of a case may give rise to challenging the success of proving these elements,” she says in the article, before going on to discuss the importance of discovery and factual investigation to backing and formulating defenses.

Sejal focuses her practice on defense litigation, and has extensive experience in insurance defense matters. She is admitted to practice in all California State Courts as well as the Central District of California. Sejal writes frequently on legal matters for a variety of publications, and has contributed to the “Barristers Tips” section of Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine previously.
