Messner Reeves LLP Denver Associate Trevor Gallaway recently participated in an Immigration Clinic panel discussion at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
The discussion centered around immigration law topics, particularly those relating to removal defense over nearly two hours of questions and answers. Students learned real-world insights on removal proceedings, career paths, and open questions about immigration law topics. Panelists also included a former Assistant Chief Immigration Judge who supervised the Houston Immigration Court and a private-practice immigration attorney who is also an adjunct professor at Florida International University.
“It was good to be on the panel with so many talented attorneys and particularly the Assistant Chief Immigration Judge, who provided great insights to the students on proceedings,” says Trevor.
A fluent Spanish speaker, Trevor Gallaway has extensive experience in immigration law matters, including representing detained asylum seekers in removal proceedings and representing clients in all stages of litigation, including appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
