Since its inception in 2020, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch has expanded to include over 19,000 of the most exclusive upcoming legal talent in the U.S. The primary purpose of this distinguished recognition is to draw more attention to the growing number of attorneys who are new to the industry. For 2023, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch covers 190 metro areas, nearly 19,800 honorees, 79 legal practice areas, and represents 3,816 firms. While many of the formerly named attorneys in this category have received the Best Lawyers recognition, it’s crucial to note that being named as the former doesn’t guarantee a spot in the latter in years to come.
