Messner Reeves Sponsors 2023 Colorado Hispanic Bar Association Banquet

Messner Reeves is honored to support the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association’s efforts in supporting Hispanic interests and issues in the legal profession by attending and donating to their annual En el Jardin banquet and silent auction.

This year’s banquet and auction were held on August 12th at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Messner Reeves partner Bruce Montoya, long-time CHBA Foundation Board member, and associate Daniel Delay, CHBA member, attended this event. The firm also donated items to the CHBA’s silent auction, which featured unique items such as vacation packages and local art.

Messner Reeves participates in this Colorado Hispanic Bar Association event annually, helping scholarship recipients and the Hispanic community. We prioritize specialty bar association events as part of our culture and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

More about the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association

Incorporated in 1977 as the Chicano Bar Association, the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, also known as the CHBA, was envisioned to provide legal advice to the Hispanic community and serve as a catalyst in expanding the number of Hispanics in the legal profession.

Throughout its history, the CHBA has initiated projects designed to carry out the stated purposes of its founders. Today, more than 500 Latino and Hispanic attorneys in Colorado specialize in all facets of the law. CHBA is always committed to expanding legal opportunities for Latino attorneys within Colorado. It has worked to ensure the appointment of Latinos to the bench, district attorney offices, governmental entities, and private law firms.
