The case in question involved a medical malpractice claim against a psychiatric hospital, in which the plaintiff was initially seeking over $20 million in damages. After extensive pre-trial work, Matt George was able to get the $20 million claim reduced to a fraction of that amount. After a 7 day jury trial, the jury returned a defense verdict in less than 2 hours.
